J-pop is a genre of music that originated in Japan. It has a wide range of styles, from rock to pop, and is known for its catchy tunes and upbeat rhythms.
Quick history of Japanese music:
- Kayōkyoku (歌谣曲): the one with lyrics
- New Music (ニューミュージック): the one with new style
- J-pop: starts in 1989.

本作は前作『MONSTERS IN TOWN』同様、1981年に制作されていた。レコーディングは東京とニューヨークで行われ、ミックス・ダウンは全曲ニューヨークで兄の吉田保が担当している。ニューヨークでのレコーディングでは当時、すでにメンバーが変わっていたブレッカー・ブラザーズのホーン・セクションをオリジナル・メンバーに戻してセッションが行われた。
